I'm back!!

i went to South Dakota for a week to visit my grandparents and uncles and aunts and cousins etc.

OMG it's so


GREEN


crazy.


they live in a tiny little town, it's so cool i <3 it. It rained three times while i was there, and was cloudy and sprinkled a lot. YAY!!!!!



and


it's all flat and green and pretty. And there isn't concrete everywhere. yay.


AND the best part is there are horses EVERYWHERE!!! and cows.

and deer.




So i went to a ranch and my grandparents know the owner, and it was so funny, they were trying to decide which horse i could ride, and they would say stuff like
"Well she bucks, and he hasn't been ridden in a long time, and we don't have a saddle for him, and she's not really broke..."


SO


guess which one i got.

I got the mare that bucks. But she is a fat Quarter Horse with no whithers, so the saddle slides down underneath her unless the girth is really really tight
and she can't buck very high, only a foot and a half or so. lol


But she didn't buck, and it was fun. Her name is Brandy. Then my mom rode Brandy and i got to ride

YES!!!! isn't that the weirdest combination you can think of????
Anyway she was also a fat QH named Midnight, and i rode her around while my mom rode Brandy and while we were riding in a pasture with 3 other horses in it


it starts raining. YAY!!!!!!



And then that night my mom, the owner of Midnight, me, and a lady who has 3 or 4 horses all go on trail around one of the many lakes, and it was so pretty!!!!

For that one i had the most awesome little POA pony named Pippy. <3



AND the day before i got to drive a pony cart! yay


with the most adorable little palomino pony named Whiskers.

the DRIVING part.


Things i drove over vacation
1. Grandpa's Golf cart. On the course literally across the street from their house.
2. Pony cart. <3
3. My uncle's really fast boat. We water skied behind it and stuff. lots of fun.

The whole plane trip home my brother kepts saying "So are you going to drive when we get home?"

Yeah right, I don't even have my permit!! ha.
